Chaos Warrior

I am a big fan of Adrian Smith‘s work: recently I bought his book, and page after page I knew that I was looking at the source for my next 3D model. My main goal for this project was to make a single 3D static illustration as fast as I can, without caring about topology and cleanliness; also I painted and rendered it inside Zbrush, so I didn’t had to work on his UV and textures. The render has been made in a single pass using custom shaders, and in compositing I used only the depth pass to add a depth of field effect. For the final color correction and tweaking I used After Effects.  —Stefano Bernardi
